He is going to be the most missed player next year. Book it.

And I will go out on a limb and say he has the most MLB potential on the team.

Lange has potential.

I like Jordan Romero though to replace him.

That'll be kind of hard since he's out of eligibility

man, Pap spent the better part of the last 2 years pretty much sucking at the plate. just started to "get it" recently. we won a lot of games when he was pretty much an automatic out. he learned how to milk the count and began to walk a lot and finally he learned how to hit.

my point is I don't think he is the biggest loss. I think it's our pitchers.

I agree that the biggest drop off will be at catcher next season. Smith will be very good at short, Deichmann's bat is obviously tough to replace but we have some talented freshmen coming in, Lange and Poche will be replaced by Hess and Gilbert. Coomes probably takes over behind the plate next year, but Pap was great defensively and improved immensely at the plate the last 2/3rds of the season.

how about Walker? AND, what we need next year is to have some talented freshmen sign. Its too much to ask for a class as good as this past one with about 6 heavy contributors but we need to find 3 or 4.

Pap will def be our biggest loss IMO. And he was kind of outshined coming off the field when freeman, kramer, and decihmann came off.

We always win a lot of games but he's been a difference maker this season in getting here, period. Not just picking up the team when the stars struggle, but what he's done behind the plate is phenomenal.

He is the biggest loss imo. LSU has the arms and loses and replaces elite pitching all the time. Pap has been so special this season that his hitting is a massive bonus. Even in his outs he works the count. He picks the best moments to visit the mound or call for a TO and has so much poise with the pitchers.

Walker is already in the starting rotation. I was talking about replacing them as starters, not necessarily in the Friday and Saturday spots.
