Which media member will interview Collis Temple and ask him to defend his hand-picked coach through 8 games?

I saw an article over the weekend which aptly stated he was "the warlord of Baton Rouge AAU Basketball"

I thought former Coach Dale Brown played a major role in the background of Coach Johnny Jones getting the LSU job since he carries more weight than Collis Temple. Remember, AD, Joe Alleva, was pressured to hire Coach Johnny Jobes after missing on former Coach Trent Johnson. Dale Brown voiced himself to LSU Administrators about this matter.

if you're not cooking at BBQs at Dale's house on the weekends you'll never make it here

JJ makes some of the meanest brisket you've ever tasted, he'll be here for a long, long time

The original post is a good point. The folks that treat LSU like their own personal sandbox need to answer when their choices go sour. The BOS person who leaked the CLM story should be asked about his tactic and how he thought that would benefit LSU football.

Does Dale Brown have any stroke at LSU? He is at all of the basketball games and he always wears a brown sweater and shirt???

Johnny Jones in theory could be a good coach for LSU. Good recruiter and loves LSU basketball so you are not worried about him using it as a stepping stone job. The only flaw in it is he's not a good teacher of the game.

From day 1 I said he should never have been hired. He was at North Texas for so long for a reason. Maybe hire him as a recruiter, but get someone who can actually coach.

LSU didn't get the pick of the litter when it came to a basketball coach the last hire. The program was in horrible shape when TJ left and Johnny has upgraded the talent and it is more entertaining ot watch LSU play now. Just not as good of a team as it should be.

They need to take the Bama and Miss ST. route and go after a big name. Those types of hires weren't happening in the SEC when CJJ was hired but if they can go do it then LSU can.

Collis would throw Johnny under the bus so fast it would make your head spin. He once told me (about a year before the final four run) that he was charged with sending a message to Brady- his exact words as he related the story to me "win or they're going to fire the frick out of you".

I would be surprised if he remained loyal to Johnny when it is apparent he is not up for the job.
