I read somewhere that you need to prove membership to TAF to go on the floor.

No, that changed post-COVID.

I believe there is an even more sinister reason. As security requirements rise they have reduced the number of portapotties around the stadium and hence have had to open more buildings for public use. Most all of the portapotties spots near the stadium are gone.

I don't think COVID was the reason they did it, but they did not have the PMAC open during the COVID season so this was convenient timing for whatever the intention was. They also upped the minimum TAF payment to qualify for any real TAF benefits for membership. They therefore lost my TAF membership money, I'll just pay their fees for season tickets and nothing more for the time being.
