its almost like the architects were about to submit a great design and then right before they finalized it the boss came in and put a bunch of legos on the top deck of the model and somehow lsu bought off on it.

I was told by a TAF official that the NEZ would never have an expansion. This expansion is TS's last expansion ever. Remodel, yes. Add-on, no.

You'll be able to see downton/the bridge I assume from the new SE expansion seats. Sweet

To my knowledge there is a room issue/tearing up all those oaks would be awful.

Hadn't thought about that -- should be some awesome photos coming from the SEZ soon. Dusk, stadium packed, playing Florida or Alabama, gold game...

Even if they had to put them there it seems like they could have made them all the same size and distance apart or hide them with something. Ruins the whole thing for me but maybe it will look better than rendered.

It's amazing how much of a difference can be made by legitimate renderings. The interior looks better than I expected, honestly.

Can't believe on a rainy game there will be no concourse for those visitor to find shelter. The Legos are open air it looks like, might have an awning over the blocks but that's just ridiculous planning for me too. Oh well thank goodness I'll never sit up there

Exactly. Put up a wall above the visitor seats with LED ribons for stats and whatnot. Boom. Fixed.

Can't wait to hear what 100,000+ sounds like on November 8, especially when Keehn pins the ShitGumps back on their own 1 in the South End....

Only at LSU!

Hey, why don't we aesthetically frick up our new multi-million dollar expansion. Lets not even try to make them all the same size and balanced. Just throw shite up there. Looks like GD FEMA trailers up there on top of everything. Show me another endzone upper deck expansion with uneven and unbalanced structures sitting right on top.

An attorney should file a request for a temporary restraining order asking for construction to be halted until LSU comes up with a plan to add some kind of wall to hide the FEMA trailers from view.

They had to give us something to bitch about since they had all the PVC pipes covered up.

And yeah, beautiful view of downtown BR with Exxon in the background!

But those boys better get cranking or it'll never be ready...

Why not simply extend the uppermost seating area to conceal the concessions/bathrooms? It would take 10 rows or so

Just seems logical to me...Aesthetics and Balance

I have heard that the concrete blocks on the very top are sound reflectors that will reflect the noise from the band and student section back to the field making it the loudest stadium in the country.

Those upper general seats is supposed to just be 1,500 seats right? Looks like it would fit a lot more people to me.
