I’ve seen LSU use motion and tempo this season.

We only use tempo when we're down late in the game (and then magically move the ball)

We barely use motion. We should have guys in motion EVERY play, and not just going from the sidlines to the hash non-chalantly. We also rarely change our formations pre-snap.

From the film, their spacing doesn’t look bad.

We run TE-heavy bunch formations ALL the time

We don't use bunch formations, either.

We don't scheme WRs open or give WRs the ball in space to make plays (see: UTenn spamming the sideline screens yesterday)

We don't do all of the things that make defenses announce their play to make the game easier for the QB

You're being too nice. Daniels fricking sucks. He might be the worst starter LSU had in the last 40 years. That's why I say you cannot critique Denbrock's offense because who fricking knows what it really is with a complete retard at qb?

It's why I think it's bullshite to start getting all up in arms about the coaching staff like sfp is right now. You can't determine shite with the current situation of this team. It's so pieced together with transfers/young recruits from the last class/upperclassmen who actually stuck it out while the rest of their team bailed out on Coach O.

Coach O completely fricked this program for at least a year or two. If anybody can't see that, they're blind or in denial.

If Denbrock's preferred system isn't working, change the system.

You see what Kiffin is doing at Ole Miss this year with a transfer-heavy offense? It's a completely different monster than what he ran last year.

Denbrock has one gear

2018 and 2020 are 5-6 years apart?

You mean, dumb it down for our mid players? Can you see the forest a little clearer now?

Most elite college offenses are simple.

Denbrock is running a complicated, antiquated system

Again, why people keep comparing him to Cam Cameron. Same issues

No they aren’t. You’ve lost your credibility here.

They simplify things to make it easier on the QB. It's all progeny of the Mike Leach offense.

That's why guys like Caleb Williams can dominate as a true freshman. You think Riley was burdening him with a complicated offense and decision-making? Kliff had a string of QBs produce at an elite level young while he was at Tech. Jalen Hurts won a title at Bama and he couldn't even throw for shite as a freshman.

Hell, the ultimate is still going back to the 2013 season when this board thought Cameron was a god b/c of Mett. Bama had a RB play QB in 2014 and do better than Mett did in 2013 b/c of the system.

This is why offense has dominated CFB for some time. Coaches finally figured out that you can install a great offense quickly

It’s ok. I’ve double checked your closet and under your bed. Les Miles and Cam Cameron aren’t going to hurt you any more.

Look SFP, I'm not blindly pledging my oath and taking up for Denbrock and Kelly just because. But I think you are way off in your logic and argument because who fricking knows what Denbrock's offense is supposed to be?

You can take the body and frame of a sports car and put a 4 cylinder Toyota Camry engine in it. Would you criticize the performance of the sports car at that point? That's about the situation LSU is in right now with the qb situation. They (including Denbrock's play calling) are SEVERELY limited right now. It's inaccurate and kind of stupid to even critique that with Daniels running it.

It wasn't the play calling yesterday. There were open routes and Daniels had the time to get it to them. He fricking sucks and is in over his head and doesn't see them.

If we Scooby Doo this, you remove the mask on Kelly/Denbrock and it's Les/Cam

People have such short memories due to insecurity and panic. This year was always going to be either shite or we won some close games due to luck. Which it’s been a bit of both.

We have no depth and everyone, not just the transfers/freshman, are learning a new system. That’s not to say there haven’t been some major disappointments like our WRs and special teams. But for fricks sake everyone needs to scroll out and be patient. Quit talking in absolutes and let the season develop. Teams are allowed to develop and sometimes regression is a part of the growth.

Well I’m not giving up on Kelly… I predicted we would lose to Fla. St. and go 4-4 in the SEC for a 7-5 season. We just have too many ‘new’ players. Next year we should improve…
