Outside of Herman, who are other real and potential HC Candidates?

I think everyone right now is "feeling the Herm" as one of my friends said, and rightfully so. I watched some interviews of Herman talking about his philosophy and I think he has a great coaching mind. All about winning each day, each play, and not looking ahead. The process as Saban and others call it. Outside of Herman, who are other potential HC candidates? Seems like Kiffin has matured. Venables, the DC at Clemson is a hot name. Any others that would be intriguing?

Kiffin is still Kiffin

What he has done is exactly what he did at USC succeed with elite players and get kept in line by a real HC.

This is the scary thing.

If we can't land Herman, and we assume we burned the bridge with Fisher, what then?

This thread again. *sigh*

But kiffin is loved by some hated by others. Imo, he's young, energetic, and a good offensive mind that has succeeded in the SEC on a very consistent basis. I think he would bring in great young stars and put some life back in the program.

Herman is my Number 1 choice though.

Other choices I like:
Larry Fedora
Jimbo
Fuentes
Obligatory Gruden

Eta: Mullen is another interesting prospect.

Hopefully he has learned since then and gotten some good influence from saban. If he gets bama another natty with a freshman QB you can't deny he is deserving of consideration.

Maybe Petersen at UDub

Dabo

Honestly I have no idea who has interest right now and is looking to leave their spot for an upgrade, it's too early

He's been under saban for a few years now. I think he's learned from his experiences.
