Lots of easily catchable balls dropped. Can't do that against a defense like bama

Don't think so. Etling missed his open receivers with short passes on several occasions that would have kept drives alive. Those were killers and eventually did what CLM's offenses did, wore the defense down.

Our wr's don't run good routes & therefore get very little separation. I don't know where the problem lies because l am not able to watch that part of practice. WR's are not that good...very overrated in IMHO.

At times, yes. But last night the problem was Etling missing throws when they were there. Obviously he was getting hit all night but he simply missed the wide open easy throws. Killed our drives and our chances.

I thought dupre played well. The play calling didn't do anyone but bama any favors, going deep downfield on 3rd and 4 for instance.

They didn't get many opportunities to catch passes cause DE was either short hopping passes like BH or overthrowing passes like BH was doing...
Tell Me why BH didn't get one snap....DE played just like BH but worse. Atleast BH can scramble for some positive yards. DE WAS A SITTING DUCK ALL NIGHT!!!!

Our WR couldn't create any separation. There defense was outstanding. The next 3 weeks will be different

There definitely weren't lots of easily catchable balls dropped. I don't know where you saw those. Our long gain on the day was a very good adjustment and catch by Chark because he was covered.
Dural is kind of wasted this year because our QBs haven't been accurate on long balls. Dural has averaged about 20 yards per catch every year at LSU and he is averaging 10 yards per cactch this year.

when etling throws deep,,,it just seems like he is just chunking it up there and wishing for the best.

Agree about the route running. That's coaching and technique. Right now, the 2 Asst Coaches on the hot seat should be ÖL and WR coaches.
