our special teams coverage took a giant leap yesterday

we were at the ball carrier real fast and tackled really well. this was such a change that I had difficulty fanthoming it. after 9 games of our guys not arriving, all of a sudden they looked damn good.
my point is what happened? how did they all of a sudden learn to shed blocks and run fast and make quick tackles?
this was so sudden (and late in the season), I gotta think we completely changed personnel, started giving the players incentive bonus's, or, without fanfare, move Peveto out and had another coach take the special teams over.

I noticed this as well and it was shocking. They were hitting them so well that I think it caused the turnover which put us back in the game for a hot second. The Ole Miss player knew we would be there and he knew he would be hit hard and out the ball went.

thanks for replying. no one else will because they hate peveto so bad yesterdays performance just didn't fit their agenda.

Ironically, despite how bad they've been our special teams have cost us exactly ZERO games this year.
