Missing the best cornerback on the team, we completely shut down Wisconsin's passing. They couldn't get separation because our corners were stuck to them like glue. You can say Wisconsin's QB and receivers weren't good, but really our secondary is just that good.

Indeed. Did anyone notice if Jefferson played last night?

Wisconsin's receivers aren't very good, but even subpar receivers get open sometimes. Except last night.

I don't recall seeing Jefferson out there, and wait until Robinson is back. Our secondary will allow us to stack the box against a lot of teams.

Rickey played. He had at least one hit that made the announcers call his name.

I was really impressed with Kwon Alexander out there in coverage. He runs like a damn safety.

It is, indeed. It is really ingrained in our football program now. We bring in one elite DB recruiting class after another.

The word is out: LSU is DBU.

And there were multiple elite DB recruits in attendance last night

Yes he made a few outstanding 1 on 1 open field tackles. We needed him to step his game up and he clearly has.

Our DB's have serious swagger. Collins, Mills, Thomas, Adams, you name it.

Db's not only covered well but made some great one on one tackles.

Collins running down Melvin Gordon maybe not the play that it seems because they scored anyway, but if you think about that for a second that he chased down one of the best backs in the nation. Pretty impressive. Great coverage skills as well

True. If we lock down A&M's receivers--well, that'll be a huge test for our guys. No matter, I'm just happy we won last night. Sundays are so much better following an LSU win on Saturday night!

Our DBs are bad arse. I just watched the game -- seeing it live with a couple adult beverages in you never leads to an overall good evaluation of how we played.

#57, 4 and all DBs are damn good.

Our offense will continue to improve. 10 looked very good on some plays. We will continue to improve because we will be able to evolve in play calling as the season goes along in line with QBs development (now, we have an actual damn good OC, I know we will make the right calls and the right time most of the time).
