re: Our Field Crew will make SC Not Top 10

If I'm not mistaking the tarp crew pretty much runs the student section. They're all students and show up hammered and do the majority of the opposing right field taunts and what not, they are pretty lame.

That was some pathetically slow shite by the field crew. WTF.

Media behind us said it was a new tarp they got yesterday.

I'd like to point out that twitpics suck worse than our ground crew. That garbage has never worked on my phone and, as an adult, I'm not about to install their app.

That was embarrassing

There was an obvious issue with the tarp being new. Why they didnt unfold it as a test run i dont know. It was not because weight of water tho. It was folded accordian style for the first half then just stopped.
The rain came out of nowhere. Under grandstand i said "why are people in the bleachers running" then boom. Pouring.

The field looks like a slice of marble cake now....

Just wanted to join in on the bitching.

1. Yes it came out of nowhere. We were prepared for rain but not for THAT

2. The umpires make the last call when to pull the tarp, but that didn't matter. Hell starting it a minute or two earlier wouldn't have helped.

3. Brand new tarp, opened the thing yesterday afternoon. Most of it was still stuck together and never rolled off itself like it was supposed to.

4. Yes, it was very embarrassing and I was fricking pissed when we walked off. I got time to cool down and realized there was just no way of avoiding that. That was worse than 2012 ULL game and for that the two teams came out and helped us. No help today.

5. For the "quit your job" crowd, we aren't paid and will have spent 11 hours at the Box today when this second game is done. You're very welcome to help next time.

Ive been trying to put on a few more pounds to cross the 350 lb threshold required to be a part of the LSU grounds crew.

I take that back. There was a midget dancing groundskeeper this year but I didn't see him out there today.

Just giving you a hard time. I appreciate the job yall do. My quick-dry snow shovel forehand is pretty inaccurate anyway.
