Mills and Collins have been running around looking lost, not just this Sat., but pretty much all season. They are playing as if they are not getting any coaching, or if so, they're not listening. They are freshman and really athletically gifted, but it seems this is all they have to work with. The bad angles from the safeties...What the hell is going on with these guys? This is by far LSUs biggest weakness right now, and every team in the country knows it. LSU(DBU) let a very average SEC qb throw for nearly 400 yds on our home field. Unacceptable.

Our CBs have been pretty good this season.. safety play is a huge issue.

They are both freshmen. Give them a break. The game is a lot harder at this level.

it's a little chaotic because the corners, although good are still learning, and they don't have the chemistry yet, of feeling pretty confidant that everyone is doing their given assignment

Martin is a better option in coverage, not sure why he doesn't play more

Bad angles, soft zones, biting on double moves, over running plays.

Lots of things to work on.

Collins got picked on a lot, and Eugene is getting more playing time because he is good off the edge blitzing but isn't as good in coverage.

But two games does not a trend make.

Yeah, what little he's played, he's looked good. Eugene has looked really good in the nickel as well.

Mills has looked very good all season long as well as against Ole Miss. Collins got beat some against Ole Miss, didn't look bad, and has played well all season long. These guys have not only covered well, they've also defenses passes. Count me as impressed.

It could be coaching a bit and as far as safety play both Reid and Loston(mostly Craig) have been playing injured all season...I believe the previous DB coach did a better job distributing his younger players around to compliment his experience players!

Should be able to pressure Wilson, some, so that should help. I guess they are afraid to press the WR's...I don't like em getting off the line that clean, but I guess there's a plan...

Don't be too sure. Arkansas is only giving up 1.5 sacks per game.

Stop making excuses....young yes but nearly an entire season under theer belt. Safety play is really poor against ole miss, run support was horrible. I hope he does not try to leave for his sake. Needs to have a good year to increase his dollar value.

We need to get pressure up front. We need Reid to play like a leader. Two of the TDs were his fault

Simon was the one picked on. He sucked bad all night, just turned and trailed receivers all day. He is terribly overrated IMHO

Stop and Go killed LSU early. Everyone game plans for the Tigers. We play same D except for prevent against AJM.

Chavis needs to change up the game plan for the Fiesta Bowl.
