Lol.

If you've never lived in Oklahoma you will not fully understand the irony of this post.

Oh I know

Still so mad over 12 fricking years ago

Most are OK though,I went to an OU game a few years back and they were really cool.

Hold grudges like a motherfricker though

Must be great, their board went from 3 posters to 10 this year with Simmons.

Pot. Kettle. Black. We are admittedly the same way about USC. I'll admit I still hate them for claiming 2003

Every place you go you can find the "backwards arse jack wagons". OKC/Norman is no different at all.

It's funny how little they know about this team. I'd be willing to bet ZERO of them realize we were without 2 of our top 4 best players for half the season. I'd love to see how good they would be had they not had Cousins or Spangler for 11 games.

They probably think that because we've had Simmons the whole time, it shouldn't have mattered (which was also the attitude of quite a few on here at the time). Pretty similar to how this board would look if they were missing guys other than Hield.

I went back and looked at old box scores and just laughed. When Bridge, Elbert, and Darcy play 40+ minutes combined a game, not a recipe for success. Add in Sampson playing 20+ and Blakeney forced to take 15+ shots...just not good

Still.....OU is by far the best team we will have played up until this point. I am really glad the game is at home, if we bring our A game we have a good shot I think.

Where did I say they weren't? And I'd argue that playing AT A&M is more difficult. If it was at Oklahoma we would virtually have no shot, but the difference between home and away in college basketball is monumental. Largest discrenpcy in home/away splits in all sports. Big games at the PMAC LSU has always played very well. I'd put our chances at about 30-40%

Patterson wasn't a starter from the get go, but he'll certainly be a starter the rest of the way as long as we keep the 3-guard line-up.

Oklahoma while certainly not bad is no paradise either.

There's a laundry list of problems here

Didn't mean to imply anything other than I do think OU would have handled a couple of guys being out against the teams we played better than we did. I do think OU is a on a higher level than A&M but 100% agree that the home court advantage gives us a good shot in this one. Hell, if Victor had been able to play the whole game against A&M we might have won on their court.

I definitely think OU is better. On a neutral court if I had to pick between playing A&M or Oklahoma I'd pick A&M every day. There's just something about home court in college basketball that makes things extremely difficult
