Why is it that our fans give up and throw in the towel when we lose? And why do we lose all credibility but other teams that get whooped, people forget about it?

Urban Meyer has won 3 national titles and had an undefeated season at Utah.

Ed Orgeron is 10-25 in his only permanent head coaching gig.

I'll take a stab at it.

OSU was blown out by eventual national champ Clemson, and an Oklahoma team that will be in the playoffs and potentially win it all. They also have a head coach who is more than proven and they can trust.

And Cowboys are an NFL team, which is totally different and surely you're smart enough to realize the differences there?

Ok was confused bc Ohio state is 2-1 this season. But those two losses you refer to are big time programs and urban got them to the playoffs twice in 3 years and has a title there. It's a much different situation.

We still hear about 21-0. We don't hear about 31-0. Same stage.

Right, because Mississippi State is clearly a program of the same caliber as Oklahoma and Clemson.

Get back to us when Minnesota blows out Ohio State or Virginia destroys Clemson.

And FSU was still relevant this year to start the season. And we destroyed Louisville. Lsu always falls off the radar while other teams barely drop

Except that Jimbo has won numerous conference titles, a national title, and produces Heisman winning quarterbacks. If he loses a game by 30+ points, fine - he's already proven he can accomplish quite a lot. And at the end of the day, his 78-18 record as a head coach speaks for itself.
