Syracuse? No way he wants to be that far away from Cajun food. He is using this as an opportunity to send a signal he wants to get the LSU job. No way Alleva takes that chance with the program. Or would they consider him. If they told him no behind the scenes, O is a goner.

Or, is Orgeron just trying to express displeasure with the way Miles is being treated?

Or, just sending a signal to the open positions that he is interested in a HC position?

He is generating interest in the case that his job security diminishes.

At this point Orgeron being an alien angry with the treatment of his friends at Area 51 is not outside the realm of possibilities.

He's coached at Syracuse before in the 90's.

He's coached at USC, twice.

He's coached at Miami.

I dont think he gives a shite about cajun food or being close to home

You mean a guy may rather be a head coach than a d-line coordinator? Remarkable.

Cajun food? That's your lock?

O would go cause he would be head man and triple his salary. He could go down the bayou and pluck a chef to go with him

Last time he coached at USC, his family was living in Louisiana and he lived in an hotel across the street LINK

Orgeron, 52, is accustomed to making adjustments. Since returning to USC as part of Kiffin's staff in January 2010, he has lived in a hotel room across the street from campus. His wife and three sons live in Louisiana, and he returns home when he can.

He'd move for a HC gig, but don't say he wouldn't like to be close to home.
