Orgeron is the perfect candidate in Alleva's eyes

Reading the letter Alleva released with his specific guidelines made me wonder. Was O exactly what Alleva was looking for to lead this program? Or did Alleva write this knowing it was Orgeron already?
Recruiter, motivator and can adapt.
He was known as a recruiter and was known to try to be a motivator. He said he was gonna adapt from his time at Ole Miss.
Joe never said he wanted a good football coach.
We all should've seen the writing on the wall. He said so in this generic guideline for the next head coach. It's vague enough where you can substitute the word "football" and replace it with any other sport.
I think I was fooled because the first sentence made me read the whole thing in Liam Neeson's voice.

I’ve identified a very specific set of guidelines in selecting our head coach. His first directive from me will be to create a culture of excellence and character in every facet of our football program in order to compete at a championship level every year.
He must have the highest standards of integrity and work ethic LSU fans have come to expect.
He must be a skilled and relentless recruiter, attracting the most gifted student-athletes to our university while instilling pride and confidence in parents who entrust their children to our program.
He must be able to motivate our players to perform at the highest level, and to hold them accountable to certain standards of behavior both on and off the field. He must be committed to continuing a tradition defined by character and integrity.
He must have the instinct to adapt to changes in the game of college football, allowing LSU to compete for championships every year.
Finally, he must be an accomplished leader of the young men who will rely on him for strength and guidance and from whom they will learn valuable lessons that will have a lasting impact on their lives.

Is he?
One of Joe's requirements...

Someone that’s a proven winner that can lead this program.

Well so far he has failed on most of that...

Other than the recruiter part, how does O meet any of these qualifications?

he hasn't accomplished any of it
Recruiting is his specialty but even that looks questionable at the moment

I don't think he has met any. I just said the he was known as a recruiter and motivator. And that Alleva hired him because of that. His reputation in those areas got him hired and that is pathetic.

It is so hard to believe just what a fricking mess Alleva has got LSU in.

He wrote that with Herman in mind because it was released the day after Houston destroyed Louisville on ESPN.
I remembered thinking Herman was his guy after the timing of the statement.
Ole Joe was prolly giddy at the time thinking he had his guy.
