When he was 15, he molested his 6 year old cousin. This was never public and never made the courts since they were both minors.

However, he recently missed his annual checkup with the courts, so the crime has leaked. I see noway OSU, nor the MLB, ever allow him to play baseball again

quote:

The girl told investigators that inside Heimlich's bedroom, he pulled down her underwear and "touched her on both the inside and outside of the spot she uses to go to the bathroom," according to court records.

"She said that she told him to stop, but he wouldn't," the documents state, and that "it hurt" when he touched her.

quote:

"She said that the first time the respondent touched her she was four years old and that she was six years old the last time he did this," according to court records. Heimlich ultimately pleaded guilty to one count of molestation between

February 2011 and December 2011, a period in which he was 15. Prosecutors dismissed the other charge as part of a plea bargain.

99% chance OSU knew about this before he threw a pitch for them. He definitely screwed up by not showing for court though. He will pitch through the remainder of their year.

We will see. I absolutely would be there to boo the frick out of Lange on Saturday if rolls were reversed and we pitched him

A 15 year old man. You have your learners permit and are a sophomore in high school.

That's pretty terrible but I doubt MLB is going to blackball him forever.

He's lucky Oregon seems to be a little more understanding of things like that. One of my former colleagues (in Tennessee) had a client that was a registered sex offender and had been for over 10 years without incident. He failed to inform the registry of purchasing a new car within 48 hours of purchase, as required, and they cited him with a felony and the plea bargain offer was a year or more to serve in prison (as in day for day, no suspended sentence). He was not simply given a citation and the opportunity to update his information in the registry.

I'm not sure how you go about this dilemma. What he did was absolutely wrong, but I have mixed emotions about a minor making a mistake that ruins the rest of his life (minus murder obviously).

The problem is only a very small percentage sexual predators ever really change.

I can unnderstand a 15 year old that murders someone

Heat of the moment, horrible fight, testosterone and hormones and boom you make a quick terrible decision to take someones life

I in noway can understand a 15 year old, taking off a 6 year olds panties, and molesting them. That is a mental disorder that can not be rehabilitated
