182 pitches tonight shows just how impressive Skenes' 124-pitch performance was. But, 20 SOs from the staff tonight - dayumm!! Last I checked, there's only 27 outs in a nine inning game.
Very impressed with both!

I am a little worried about Supers/Omaha. We are not hitting and dominating as much as I thought we would be. Teams like UK and SC over here scoring 26+ runs a game from their hitting and we struggling to get 8. It seems like the bats opened up a little today, but we definitely going to need more.

Well this is dumb, depends on what type of piture you faced. 8 runs against Oregon State might be 20 runs against another team. Or maybe there was a tighter strike zone for uSC’s game which equals more hits and runs for them. All that matters is you get the W. They do not draw pictures of how it was done on the score card.

When Thatcher has command of both his fastball and his breaking stuff he can be really dominant. He's definitely peaking at the right time.

Best of three with Skenes-Floyd-Hurd and then Guidry closing if needed. I'm not worried at all!

People like to look at stats and shite leading up to the post-season to talk themselves out of positive thinking. All LSU fans need to think about is we have the best pitcher in the country and two All-Americans in the line up.
