I agree with you diehard. I just go to the game to have a good time, I felt like they took it personally when its all in good fun for me.
Name change beginning of january.

Even after the worst bowl losses, like two year's ago vs PSU and against Iowa, I've had a "Good Game!" for opposing fans.
The Oregon fans have much to learn. There's a reason they are so disliked in the Pac 12 right now.
Understood. Their fans are not the best, but that wasn't the behavior of ALL of their fans.
I know where you're coming from though. And I know what that shitty feeling feels like especially when you have a LONG trip home. They do have a lot of learn.
Still, I'd have enough respect for them to just leave them alone. I don't need to hear "Good game" from them. We just beat their arse.

The only conflict I had with an Oregon fan came from this ignorant prick booing and chanting pussy as the trainers helped an injured lsu defender roll over as he lied motionless face down on the field.
I turned around and called him out. The lsu fans around me gave him shite the rest of the game.

Tiger bating is classless as well.... And stupid
I find it ironic you call someone classes and stupid in same statement.
Its fun to mess around. Take the stick out your arse. You may smile every once in awhile.

I let the guy talk about how lsu couldn't handle the Oregon speed the whole game but when he pulled the injury shite I lost it.

GeauxTigers580307 ... agree GT580307, but the kid is 'bating' too much where 'it' should be baiting!

Good point Eyes. Guess I have class after all, because I have never tiger batted anyone.

I can't find the link, but last week the Seattle paper ran an interview with former Huskies coach Jim Lambright, and he went off on how crummy the Duck fans were. He said they were classless, and that he would not feel safe taking his family down there for a UofO game. Caught me pretty off guard. He was still bitter years later. Say what you want about Tiger fans...we are obnoxious, but we are friendly.
Agreed, Tiger fans were a BLAST to tailgate with @ Husky Stadium in 2009 and am looking forward to the return trip next year.
Here's the Lambright quote:
"As for Oregon, I hate their attitude toward visiting fans and teams. They take away, totally, the sportsmanship that one receives at classy, high-quality schools when you visit. Autzen Stadium is the only place that, in all of my coaching, where I have felt like I didn't want my family or myself to go to."
Also, I previously posted here picking LSU to win this game by standing by my belief that Oregon simply cannot win a game when it matters... (big openers such as Boise State or bowl games) and it still holds true. Congrats to a well played game. Sadly, the Pac 10/12 has to go all the way back to 1987 to find a team that has actually won a Rose Bowl not played by UW or USC...
