Just spoke with a colleague yesterday. He is not usually very nice, but he stopped me in the halls to praise Les Miles.

He spoke about him being a great coach
He spoke about him being a great recruiter
He spoke about him being a great man

Many Texans wish they had Les as a coach for their school. Good to know that even Texans know that Les is the "real deal"

That's a major stretch. Your taking 1 person's anecdotal evidence and you are generalizing it to a bunch of Texans.

Because he sucks at interviews does not mean he is an idiot.

Being stationed on board a floating city, I know a ton of Michigan fans and they wish they can get any coach from the SEC with Les being a favorite. It's sad that the biggest Les Miles haters are LSU fans.

Great CEO Coach. Pull in the wrong coordinators and the team will fall apart. Look at 2008 with the Co-DC fiasco. And 2009 and 2010 with the OC.

No argument there. The problem has been getting the talented recruits to reach their potential.

Being a great man isn't the same thing as being a great coach. Saban isn't the nicest of coaches, but he is considered one of the best.

Guy I go hiking with sometimes is a T.Tech booster, loves Les Miles. Says he would be his first choice anywhere.

I have a friend who is an Ohio State fan and he told me just the other day he's glad that Les Miles didn't go to Michigan... Said he likes beating them... Also said he doesn't know why he is ever on the hot seat, and I agreed

Is that like saying just because he wins doesn't mean he's a good coach?

I have heard the term "rahtard" thrown around quite a bit regarding Miles. I tell them, "but Goddamit, he's OUR rahtard!"

I have alot of co-workers from Ohio State and all of them wanted Miles to UM so they could continue beating them!!Friends from Arky and Aub.called or emailed saying they were glad we kept him so they would have stupid shite to laugh at til 2017!!!
He is a great recruiter and seems to be a good guy but he is widely thought of as a dipshit x and o coach!!
