were the students yelling "you suck" or not? i sit on the opposite side of the stadium so i couldnt really tell

some were, "Tigers" was more prevalent though ... but let's be honest, when LSU plays UF, what are the odds that chant stays past the first score?

I sit in the south endzone and all i heard was.. tigers. I thought it sounded awesome

It was about 50/50...I can tell you this, I sit right next to the purple barrier that separates the group seating from the regular student section. In the group section all I could hear was "you suck", in the regular section I heard alot more "tigers". What I don't understand is why anyone in the student section would chant "you suck" when it's already been stated that this will make the band stop playing this chant. Do they really think they'll win against the directors? Do they not like the chant? Why are they so dumb?

I sit in the upper east I could hear you suck mixed in. I don't understand why they continue to do it because I like the cheer and if they continue to do "you suck" its going to get pulled.

I wish they would chant it the original way, without "you suck" or "Tigers".

Well there's a group that ended up sitting by us where several basically stated they didn't go to the games last year and whatnot and I'm pretty sure I heard them yelling "you suck" the first couple of times at least ...
Some people just don't care, some people just don't think; no offense intended to anyone, but that group was obviously pretty well sauced by the time they got there.

I agree, but I feel it's my duty to try to yell "tigers" extremely loud to add to the volume of that being chanted over the dumbasses yelling "you suck".

I tried doing that, but I was hearing too much "you suck". So my friends and I went to yelling "tigers". I know it's not that big of a deal, but I really like this chant and I would hate to lose it again.

well the awesome frats behind thought apparently were too drunk to realize we weren't playing south carolina and reverted to the cheer that got it taken away in the first place. I quote them when they got more a following, "Dude we are so getting an email this week"

yes, it was half and half it kinda all got smeared together.
