How did everyone know they would be doing it except Miles and Peveto?

Yes, the return line up we had for an on sidekick was deplorable.

They knew an onside kick was coming...

Or do you think Dural and Chark are normal special teams up men?

it was a great kick but our players looked confused I heard we may have only had 10 on the field. I know we only had 3 on our first line.

How did you figure out how to start this abortion of a thread?

The kick was literally perfect.

The hop that kick took was perfect ... exactly the way it needs to be to be successful.

Our lineup for that was horrible. They had 6 guys on one side, we had 5 on that same side. What the frick were we doing?

The up line is supposed to take out kicking team players. There was only 3 to take on something like 7

The next line is supposed to go for the ball, I only saw Adams and one other (who came back from up line) to do the recovery.

Yes, absolutely great kick on the sidelines with awesome bounce. But LSU did not have near enough people in position.

some in this thread will never see this. Our ST were not lined up/prepared/ whatever else you want to call it for the onside kick

It was 6 on 6.

We had 3 up and 3 behind.

Donte and Adams were in the middle to cover the possible middle kick, but the shifted really lazy once it was obvious he was kicking to the side.

It was lined up fine, we just shifted slow.

And yet we had no one in the intermediate area behind the first line where the ball was actually recovered.

I don't fault LSU on that one.

That was the best onside kick I've ever seen. It was perfection.

Mississippi State's kicker performed the onside kick to perfection.

In this instance, instead of blaming your team for lack of execution, you should tip your hat to the opposing team for making a hell of a play.

We had 2 WRs there

They played the bounce poorly and it got behind them

Nope, you can't put 7 on one side of the kicker.

ETA - look at the link posted earlier. They had 5 guys on each side of the kicker. Also, we had 5 guys on the first line and 5 on the second, leaving one back in case they kicked deep.
