And it makes sense, it's the man from Philly! With the athletes we have to run his Offense would be exciting! we know he can develop good college Qbs and utilize talent. LSU would attract any good up-and-coming or Established DC because it is LSU ,he can recruit. He can come in in his first year beat the great Nick Saban and have a national championship offense with the athletes we have.

Les keeps his job and hires Spurrier as OC, Strong as DC, and Beamer for ST, all for one year wins the title undefeated and drops the mic on LSU fans.

I'm not a fan of Chip Kelly, nor do I want to see LSU run a weak arse pussy offense like Oregon used to. As far as QB development how many great ones did he develop? Marriota and who else, serious question?

Oh? Do you even understand the PURPOSE of an offense?

Yup, that's exactly what happened after Chavis left.

Used to? You mean that offense that has seen them in multiple NC games?

Yeah, I hate scoring points too. I like it much more now with our big physical guys up front. It really works great.

I especially enjoyed that macho, smashmouth offense on display in our last national championship game appearance.

It was truly a thing of beauty.

LOL yea. When his offense played good defenses, the offense stalled and it left them out to dry.( Stanford and LSU.) I just don't know that going from physical offense to hurry up throw the ball around 70% of the time is a good move. Hasn't faired well against SEC teams in the past.

now it would have been fun to watch when we had Russle Sheppard and Shep running Chip Kelly's offense

But he's failed pretty well in the NFL with 2 10 win season using Nick Foles and Sanchize

I couldn't agree more....Just fricking kidding.

Dude, He almost won a NC against Auburn and Cam Newton, and he literally had half the talent as Auburn.

I LOL at you guys that ask "what has he won". He took significantly less talented teams and damn near won a NC....and was always in major bowls. I honestly can't imagine what he could do with the talent that LSU already has, and the talent that Louisiana alone produces. People think he would run the exact same offense as he did at Oregon...but I believe he would modify it some based upon the superior talent that LSU has compared to what Oregon had.

The one I can't understand is Jimbo Fisher. I just don't see why everyone is in love with him like they are. He had a good year with Winston, but he played in a lousy ACC, and got lucky to draw Auburn for the NC game...an Auburn team that was fortunate not to have at least 3 losses. Jimbo isn't bad, but I remember a LOT of us used to get very frustrated with his offenses in the SEC.

Dude he coached 53 games in college and lost 7 of them. You pointed out two. One being arguably LSU's best defense ever, which they scored 27 against.

And you just showed you have no idea what you're talking about by your statement of throwing the ball 70% of the time.

How has that type of offense faired against SEC teams , or teams that play good defense? Stanford for example. And Bama plays much better defense than Stanford.

Huh? Oregon runs the ball a ton (I think they're one of the top rushing teams in the country again). And they've had success running on good defenses in the past.

My point was simply that his offense struggled when they played a physical front like the SEC is full of.
