I was pretty confident of 8 wins, but no more. With too many questions, I thought the team might gel by the end of the season and pull out a 9th. That's still theoretically possible.
Having said that, if the team had just played a little better in the Alabama game, we might already be at 8 wins, with the possibility of 10 wins. There was more wrong with the team that we thought at the beginning of the year, and 9 wins is still a possibility.
