One week from today...

Our long wait is coming to an end! One week from now the smells of fresh gumbo and jambalaya will the in the air. The beer will be cold, the music loud. 100,000 plus people will be on or around campus and the optimism about the season will be palpable.


One week from today we show the nation what a lot of us already know. LSU is back and a threat to win it all. The offense line is as talented and experienced as its been in some time. The WR group is top 5 in the country. Fournette is a potential Heisman winner, and Guice/Williams are great change of pace backs. WE ARE DBU. We lack depth at DL and LB but our starters are top notch and Coach O will have the DL ready to go, Steele will have the LBs playing better.

We have a lot to prove. Steele's last game as a DC was a nightmare, Coach O has been out of coaching for a while waiting for an opportunity like this one. Les just lost 5 games for only the 2nd time at LSU, Cam has been dismissed as a good QB coach by many after Jennings performance last season..but they know they are ready to prove the world wrong, you can see it in Les' face when he talks about this team. He literally used the word "thoroughbred" when describing the team a few weeks ago....
