One of the things I was impressed with Naz Reid

Was his demeanor. He came across to me as an unassuming and humble person and not a prima donna like some 5 star recruits can be.

I really think he could have benefited with another year in college but I completely understand his decision (given the current circumstances) and wish him all the best in the NBA.

He played hard, all season. The was engaged with his teammates. Its been a positive culture.

Simmons was a great player but was completely self interested

Do we technically have a head coach right now with Benford vacating the interim role?

Technically he’s a suspended head coach as the a-hole posted above. But last time I checked to be a coach you have to be on the sidelines, which he is not. Affecting recruiting and current players decisions, thanks to the incompetence of this administration.

While I agree with you, I still don't think Naz was staying regardless of the situation.

He was NEVER staying. He planned on being a one and done as long as he had a decent to good season. Which he had. He would have had to have a horrible season and plummeted in the draft rankings for him to stay. Mind was made up before the season

Agreed, between his demeanor this season and his farewell message, he's clearly a good kid and was a great teammate.

I hope he develops his game and has a very good NBA career.

I love that while he always looked cool as a cucumber he wasn't lacking in ferocity at all. Dude was chill but always gave 100%.

Considering his biggest knock out of high school was a questionable motor, I was thoroughly impressed with how hard he hustled every game. I’ll remember his time here fondly

I'm thinking he may end up with a lot of similarities to Martin and Mickey, NBA Draft and career wise...

This brings up a question I've been forgetting to ask everyone... Who's having the better career, Mickey, or Martin? Neither play much do they? I've seen Martin have a decent box score at least a time or two. I've never seen Mickey even play.

I guess I answered my own question, but can someone be more detailed with this question?

Does Mickey even play for the Celtics NBA squad?
