That's a shame. He was one of my all time favorite doctors. It will also make my issue to get my knee replaced that much more difficult with the VA. He was a strong advocate for all veterans in need.
He will be greatly missed.

Great family. I am friends with his son. Thoughts for the family.

I played football with his son, and I agree that Dr. Diodene was one of the most quality human beings on this planet. RIP.

His son asked me to post this here
The Family of Dr Diodene would like to thank the Tiger Nation for their thoughts, prayers, and support during our deepest time of need. It was a sudden and untimely occurrence, but because of these posts hitting home with Dad's love of LSU; we have found comfort and strength. I will miss my Dad very much. One of his most proudest moments was getting to watch me run thru the goal posts on Saturday nights. My brother in law said it best, "Dr Mike would have done anything for anybody...and ...he did." He loved his country (40 years service in the Army), he loved Louisiana, and he loved taking care of his Vets.

Thank you all!
God Speed Daddy.
Sincerely,
Mikey Diodene
