What about the offensive side of the ball? Supposedly, this is the best oline in Miles' tenure and the best rb in LSU history.

They still got trounced.

I decided to take a look a recruiting between LSU and Bama since 2007.

DL - we signed 43 for a 4-3 defense and Bama signed 54 for a 3-4. Looks like Saban's strategy is too load up so he can substitute a lot. Quality - his are better since 2013.

LB - we signed 22. they signed 29 of better talent.

OL -we signed 39 and they signed 40. Their talent is a little better, but not much. They sign an awful lot of 3 stars on the OL as do we.

Miles needs to recruit more DL and better talent at LB. I think he knows that and hopefully he can pull it off.

On offense - he either needs to recruit better talent or rethink his offensive attack. You can't beat bama with an I-attack without dominating the line of scrimmage.

Bama's attrition rate looked to be about 15% or less. All of their DL & LB's from 2011 are gone but from 2012 until 2015 they have lost very few.

A tired DL is the worst thing that can happen, and it happened to us Saturday.

Sure wish Frank would have taken the call when Tim Williams was trying to commit to the Tigers
