I'm not that old but booing has always been a part of any spectator sport. I don't like it when its directed at a college player, and if its directed at the coach its still going to seem like its against the player.

Id wager that the players were not the ones being booed.

They were booing Miles. He deserved it.

This is crap...they booed each of Jennings int and when he came out for the third series on..

I was watching on TV and it was clear that exactly 86% of the Boos were directed at Miles. The other 14% were coming from drunks that weren't even aware of why they were booing.

Please name a few groups of fans from either college or pro teams that don't boo when they see poor coaching decisions and poor play from a team that was expected to do well.

I've been a fan since the early 80's and yes lsu fans have been loud and boisterous since before then.

This notion that somehow lsu fans just recently became wacky, loud, opinionated and yes even crude makes me giggle.

It just may be that LSU fans have actually mellowed over the years.

The difference is we now have this website to bitch about everything.

It's the same as people who say "what has this world come to? Back in my day....etc, etc." Nothing has really changed all that much, we just see it more with mass media.

I think the fans were just booing the offense in general, not Jennings.

That's just not true.

I have been attending LSU football games since 1967. Boos were directed at the University late In McClendons years because the fan base was ready for a change. The boos then became part of LSU in the 80's with all the ups and downs and is now more often than ever before. Society has changed and America has lost it's humility and class not just in sports but across the land. It is who we are unfortunately.

Miles will bench a RB in a heartbeat for a fumble but won't touch a QB

Do you even think or just post BS without knowing what the frick you are talking about?

Hilliard fumbled and later got back in the game. Jennings had turnovers and didn't play for the last 40 minutes of the game.

People who boo their own college players are scum. People who say they were not booing Jennings are liars trying to find a way to cover up their stupid behavior.

I remember the following being booed:

Lee

I don't remember Ensminger being booed. What I remember was that he was the favorite son. If you say David Woodly got booed, I might believe that, but don't remember that either. and i don't recall that Jesse Daigle played enough to get bood. Refresh me.

Sorry, but this is just ignorance. Read a bit about fans at base ball games during the late 1800's and early 1900's. The fans were raucous, rude and violent. If an umpire made a poor call there was a good chance the fans would come out of the stands to kick his arse. That went for opposing players as well.
