"An old Memphis coach" that played and coached at LSU before he stepped foot on your god-forsaken campus

The best part of you went down your mom's leg.

You calling us trash after you come in hear running your mouth and then mocking what we said isn't trashy? Please just gtfo...yes we lost to Memphis, congrats on the win and have fun getting waxed again by Marcus Smart and Okie St.

Just know they will struggle without a big under the basket, hickey and company go cold from outside they are in trouble vs. a good team. JOB3 needs to get more touches for LSU to become a NCAA tourney team.

I apparently don't understand what constitutes a good screen.

[ cut the turnovers at least by half LSU wins this game... [/quote]
Absolutely. JOB had 9 rebounds but 10 turnovers.h
As with our last game, our bigs created most of the turnovers.
Out bad hands inside didn't help
I was there, behind the bench so I have some other viewpoints to offer.
Don't underestimate the effect of a hostile crowd. Of the 2,600 attendees, 2,550 were Memphis fans. They were very loud. They threw confettii. They arranged for a recording of their "fight" song to be aired during timeouts and stood up and chanted. They brought cheerleaders who stood in front of them for call & response chants etc.
(They don't have a football or baseball team!).
The refs called NO moving screens against Memphis even through they were continually doing it. (I was screaming at refs, but to no avail, Memphis fans were too loud).
Jordan seemed a bit out of sorts. I can't put my finger on it, but he looked like he might be ill. He was sucking wind 2 mins into the game?
Think the new guys panicked a bit under pressure, unlike yesterday when they were very poised.
Refs. I was worried as soon as I realized this morning, that the formula the officials were using, meant that we had the horrible crew from the OSU-Purdue game yesterday.
I don't like to say the officials win or lose a game, and if our bigs had taken care of the ball and we'd made more free throws it would be a moot point. But they had too much negative impact on LSU. Which definitely got a few of our players upset.

JOB3 is a veteran on this team. 10 turnovers is inexcuseable. I love JOB3, but he keeps repeating the same mistakes over and over. Traveling, shooting jumpers and fallaways and dribbling too much. Know your limitations Johnny.

This...Johnny pushed the right button with the sub yesterday but it backfired tonight. Finding the right mix at the right time is still an evolving process. The good news is that games like this give the best barometer for him to judge by.

I don't think it was the refs. We had 24 turnovers, bottom line. Still we had an 8 point lead with 12 minutes left and spit the bit.
