Ohio st can't find a QB who can pass the football, their QB's were so bad throwing against Indiana that Ohio St coaches relied entirely on their running game to defeat this defensive power house.

What happened to Ohio St., they supposedly had a problem of too many great QB's who could all pass the ball, now suddenly they look like LSU?

All I really know is, LSU will be fine with Harris, he's a great QB who just has to improve along with our receivers and they all will, hopefully they do it very soon.

I'm sure even the most negative of negatigers would be happy with Cardale Jones' stats against Indiana

No. No they don't. Their QB threw for 250 yds against a conference opponent.

We couldn't hit the century mark against one of the worst teams in FBS football.

So does that mean LSU is actually 0-4 this season? All our wins involved runs

Harris has not been as bad as his numbers. If you watched every pass this year it is amazing how many drops, throw always, batted balls, etc... make up his in completions. There are not too many uncatchable balls that were thrown at receivers.

Oh they can pass the ball, the problem with them is the interceptions. They average 212.6 ypg passing, complete 58.2% of passes, and have 7 TD passes.

Meyer will figure out what's wrong (Cardele Jones and the OC) and they'll be even better passing.

i believe in harris. i believe great things will happen in the future with him

but let's stop with this. what would the rant say if an opposing team was calling their QB great when he was averaging less than 100 yards passing per game? we don't know how good harris is yet b/c we haven't used him as a QB

He has the physical tools to be great. I hope he will be great. But he's not "great" yet.

OSU has a problem like LSU in that they are playing down to competition

which I know might come as a shock to tRant since most here believe this is unique to LSU

Agreed. That said his WRs are really killing him. Its not just the drops, they are also not attacking the ball.....letting some passes get defended that they could catch with a little aggression.

if LSU were crushing teams without issue, they certainly would be calling OSU overrated for their struggles

hell, i bet a bunch of rantards still do call OSU overrated even with LSU's data so far

Then Ohio State should be pure crap for 11 of the 12 weeks they play this season, given their schedule.

Ohio State won the national title last year, while LSU lost 5 games.

Ohio State went undefeated the year before, while LSU lost 3 games.

I'd say Urban has built up a little leeway and confidence that he can correct whatever is ailing the Buckeyes currently.

Oh, did I see you mocking their passing game that threw for over 250 yards on Saturday while LSU has only had 1 out of 4 games with over 80 yards passing?

They've got about 10 days.

Dude. If you can't see that Harris' stat line was horribly marred because of terrible wide receiver play, you need to take a step back and re-evaluate yourself as a football fan.

Harris can't throw it and catch it. He's one half of that equation. I agree that he hasn't been perfect this season (hanging guys out to dry) but this game's passing stats are not on his shoulders.
