WTF. At least they are in the East. And gonna suck to tiger bait him when LSU meets up with UGA in the SEC championship.

After 4 years he will be back as a Tiger fan. My wife is from Ga, went to UGA, but loves LSU.

I have a kid at Arkansas.

It happens. No matter how well you try to raise them.

UGA is a fantastic school and Athens is the best college town in America. Sports aren’t everything.

The start didn't align for me to attend LSU. It's still something that stays with you, though I went to a much smaller and less relevant school than UGA in terms of competition. Maybe he comes back for a graduate degree!

Athens >> Baton Rouge by a wide margin and UGA academics > LSU academics by a huge margin too. I'm a LSU alum and BR area native too.

seems like he made a good decision. UGA is a much better school than LSU.

Allow me to translate for those over 50.

The original poster is one of the early adopters of the digital fan site known as Tiger Rant. This occurred in 2005. He now has an offspring who will be attending the University of Georgia this fall and is perplexed as to the events that led to this (in his opinion) unfortunate set of circumstances.

Or the original poster has been an offensive guard at LSU since 2005, had a kid around that time, and said kid will be attending UGA this fall.

Its definitely one of those two things. I am over 50 my ownself so take your pick.

Meh. I can’t blame him for wanting to get tf outta Louisiana. Athens and Georgia in general, is way bettter than this sorry excuse, we call a state.

Moved my oldest to Athens this weekend. Made sure to paint her room a shade of purple. Avoided all the UGA Dad shirts and bumper stickers. Cool town and campus though. And if you live in Georgia a good place to go to school for future prospects.

No it’s not. I live in Texas and an LSU grad gets hired before a UGA grad always
