20 years later and I still remember where I was and what I was doing. I was 12 also I was on the phone with a colored boy that was on my allstar team.. The phone rang I answered it he asked what time our game was and it happened.. I threw the phone and put a hole in the ceiling. He heard all the screaming and got scared and hung up lol
When I called him back he said he thought we might have been getting robbed. He had told his mom she should call the cops to our house hahahah

Great story,but I'm not sure the term 'colored' has been acceptable since the 50s.
