Their offense does what it wants to our defense. Our offense makes an appearance, tries to keep up, but can't.
1st quarter: LSU wins the toss and defers. Ga. Tech elects to receive, and takes two plays to get into the end zone. A quick 3-and-out for LSU sets up another lightning-quick Bumblebee TD drive. Tigers settle down a little, but still can't slow down the GT option. 1st quarter score: Georgia Tech 28, LSU 3
2nd quarter: Things slow down just a bit as the LSU offense finally starts to get its legs under it. As always, initial sluggishness by the offense means a several touchdown deficit by the time we get things going. The defense does manage to get a partial stop, holding GT to a field goal on one drive in this second quarter. Halftime score: Georgia Tech 45, LSU 10
3rd quarter: With the game already in the books, Tech is content to pretty much sit on the lead and burn clock. They score, of course, but it just takes them longer. LSU also adds a meaningless TD. 3rd quarter score: Georgia Tech 52, LSU 17
4th quarter: Emptying the bench, Tech isn't even trying to score any more. LSU manages one last score against the Yellowjackets' assistant junior varsity cheerleader managers. Final score: Georgia Tech 52, LSU 24
