Although the sweep of CSF is an outstanding feat in itself, I think what's most telling about this team's potential is the way they were able to manufacture runs this weekend.
We scored 24 runs total without a single HR. Getting base hits, stealing, sacrificing, and putting pressure on the opposing teams can go a long way with this team's success.
Another note worth mentioning is that with the exception of Ty Ross, all of our starters have double digit RBI totals. Having a lineup 1-9 that is capable of plating runs puts constant pressure on the opposing pitcher and defense.
Having said that, I know we're only 16 games into the season, but this team continues to impress and hopefully they can continue to improve throughout SEC play.

Imagine if Z. Lee would have been here...

Sad thing is that even without him we have relievers and weekday starters that are Friday or Saturday guys elsewhere.

I think the biggest thing this year is their ability to bunt/sacrifice. Last year, they couldn't put a bunt down to save their lives! Last year's regional, for example. Maybe the "dead" bats aren't all bad.

He'd probably be taking Jones' role as a midweek starter.
I'm satisfied with the pitchers we have. Good luck with the Dodgers Z Lee

This, and the speed on the basepaths is impressive as well, we had 6 stolen bases today alone (at least 4 were on double steals).

Sorry for the double post. Listening to Thunder Chickens for the last two days has kinda worn me out.
