Offensive numbers 2006-2009

I started thinking last night while watching the game that it seems like we are never on the field on offense and the other team always seems to have more plays.
What do you all think of these numbers. Obviously in 06 and 07 we had qb's who are now in the NFL, but what I find interesting is the comparison of 08 and 09. Why are we so much worse this yr vs last? Both years have been Lee/Jefferson combos.

Total Plays per game 59 68 75 63
Opp plays per game 69 65 65 58
Avg Yds per game 310 368 439 417
Opp yds per game 311 325 289 243
Scoring 25 31 39 34
Opp Scoring 14 24 20 13

I meant why is 08 so much worse than 09. I think I know why it is worse than 06/07 as indicated by who was qb
