Never thought I'd say that, but that was their largest win over a ranked team in 39 years. Our players and coaches literally mailed it in during the game to Mississippi fricking State. We are in for a long two years minimum. We're going to look like fools when Herman punks us in 2019, if O is still even around. I want to punch Alleva in the throat for not conducting an actual search and at least making an offer to a proven coach like Herman, Fleck, etc.

This is a terrible time to be an LSU fan. It sounds like O doesn't have championship aspirations this year. He is a high school varsity coach, but not a real Power 5 coach. If his coordinators ever leave him, he will be clueless.

They beat the crap out of us in all phases of the game. Reminded me of the 2013 Alabama-LSU game in Tuscaloosa - but actually much worse.

Mississippi State fully dominated us and the only reason we didn't realize it at the beginning was because we weren't expecting it. But, by the end of the first quarter, they were already taking it to us.

It was a sad spectacle. Mississippi State is good. LSU is horrible. End of story.

Beyond the Obvious such as the HC, the disciplinary issues, team depth issues, lsu is being manhandled in the trenches and it goes back to 2013 and maybe even beyond minus 2011. LSU's signature has always been the toughest guys in the SEC within the trenches. The LSU brand has essentially been erased. We have all beaten the dead horse about O and for right reason but the trenches LSU is now soft and it pains me to say that. It's all part of the program trending into a dark era of the program.

Well Ole Miss beat us 38-17 in 2015 and I promise you Mullen is a hell of a lot better coach than Freeze and has a better program. We'll be okay.

We've destroyed MSU many many times. They survived and moved on. Maybe we LSU fans can muster up enough strength to survive as well. Get some perspective people.

The difference is State losing to LSU is expected considering how much more talent LSU has had than State. Now LSU losing to State, let alone getting blown out by State, is totally unacceptable. LSU has so much more talent than State that it isn't even funny. Dark times are ahead of us folks.
