Objectively, that WAS a hell of a baseball game

you gotta give ULL credit; they competed. they have a damn good coach and a damn good program.
anybody w/o a "dog in the hunt" would have loved watching that game; it had a lot of drama. it had everything but great hitting. of course, that means it had great pitching.

Agreed. That was an exciting game to watch. A little to much drama, but I you can't be mad at the end result.

Agreed. ULL fans can bitch about the umpire, but the strike zone was consistent, low, but consistent.
2 good curveball pitcher took advantage of it.

It's not that USL loss the game thats going to be tough for them to bounce back and be competitive, it's the way they loss. They aren't mentally strong enough to suck it up and go out and win tomorrow.

I really think Lange is a hell of a pitcher but he couldnt find the strike zone with his fastball and all he had was his offspeed pitch. I thought he struggled as bad as I have seen him. I was very suprised he pitched as long as he did. If Bugg comes in earlier their would have been a little less drama. Having said all of this we are not going to win a National Championship as we are not hitting the ball. Perfect storm to have beaten and we will be soon after this series.
