O has to go: LSU already wasted the 2016(& '17) season by not firing Les at the right time

Last year was a wash, this year is going nowhere fast, and if O returns we all know at this point that things will only get worse.
Look at basketball too. LSU screws the pooch royally in 15-16. Jones may as well have been fired then, but the next year goes down the shitter too because everyone knew Johnny was a dead man walking, and after the clownshow that was the previous season, fan support was almost nonexistent (-er than usual).
Thankfully that ended up with us landing Wade. Hopefully if things keep trending down w this team it'll have a similar result in landing a good coach. Otherwise you're wasting another year and further hampering the next guy. Wade has done crazy shite with the hoops roster, but its a whole lot easier to turn over a 12-13 man basketball roster than a football squad.
And Alleva obviously needs to go too.

I don't want O fired until Alleva is fired first! Once Alleva is fired, then we can discuss O.

I think the sad thing is that the fans who really care and follow basketball closely know this is the EXACT SAME scenario that occurred with Johnny Jones.
Hire a coach that no one else wanted because of his ties to LSU/Louisiana. Not to mention a coach whose only selling point was his great recruiting.
Agree to completely unnecessary contract terms making it prohibitive to fire the coach when he inevitably can't bring LSU to a championship level program (Jones got a completely unnecessary extension on a 5 year contract after only his 2nd season at LSU)
The inevitable happens and what everyone with a brain knew what would happen from the beginning happens, Jones can't lead LSU to a championship caliber program...
But because of LSU's mentally retarded AD and his decision to keep exactly ZERO schools from stealing Jones by agreeing to ridiculous contract terms, it's cost prohibitive to fire Jones so we have to wait one more year to watch the program sink to rock bottom.
LSU watched Joe Alleva prove his incompetence with basketball then let him DO THE EXACT SAME THING with the football hire.
At this point I can't help but wonder if Joe Alleva isn't some double-agent planted by the other SEC schools to systematically destroy the LSU athletic dept. No CEO of a multi-million dollar entity can be that accidentally stupid TWICE, right?
