Any BCS bowl is the big spolight.

I disagree!!!! Beating them means nothing for the program IMO.

more fun playing Iowa on a shitty field in Orlando

Ist of all the field will be fine this year. 2nd of all it would be MSU over Iowa at the cap one.

I wouldn't mind seeing LSU turn down a Cap One bid for a lesser bowl after that mudhole they made us play in last year

that stadium has field turf now......it was already planned before last year's fiasco.

FTR- I started a thread yesterday about speaking with 2 men on the Orange Bowl Commitee saturday before the game.

I hope you're right. For the sake of who ever ends up there. Last year was a disgrace.

Is that really better? Really?

OK...just insert any Big 10 team other than OSU and I still say the same.

I just don't want to go to any bowl where there is a potential for a field that is capable of looking like a logging operation during wet weather. I have had my share of Mud Bowls to last a life time.

I would much rather beat a top 10 MSU team than a barely top 25 Iowa team. Plus its a contract withthe FLA bowls that its Big Ten vs. SEC every year.

I want to go to a bowl game outside of NOLA, Atlanta, or Orlando. Miami would be sweet

I'd much rather Boise or TCU in the Sugar over whatever cheese-dick team makes it to the Orange out of the ACC.

but I wouldnt mind a change in BCS bowl and playing in Miami

Problem is, we would end up playing some crappy Big East or ACC champion in what would probably be a really boring game.

If we can't play for the title, I want to play close to home and be the team that puts an emphatic end to all the Boise hype.

#1 If Auburn loses to Bama then no matter what happens in SEC champ game, as long a we beat Arky we should be in BCS bowl. If, S. Carolina wins, Auburn would have 2 losses and we would be only 1 loss team in SEC. Auburn wins, they would either go to Sugar and we would go at-large (Prob Orange) or they go NC and we go Sugar. That's why I'm telling ya'll, pull for Bama to upset Auburn, this will only assure of a better bowl no matter what happens in SEC champ, it's def better for LSU.

#2Steauxn, I saw those Orange Suited gentleman as well, only thing I think I said was, "let's make it happen fellas, bring LSU to Miami!!". Must be a nice gig, going around the county on the Orange Bowl's dime, watching great college football games all year.

I feel like MSU is seriously overrated. Didn't Iowa destroy them this year?

I actually think it would be better all around (recruiting, fan turnout, etc) to play a Big 12 team in the cotton if we can't go to the sugar. I know that's impossible because of bowl tie ins, but if I had my way it would be:

Sugar>Cotton>everything else that occurs on or after New Years

Quit being so damn selfish and thinking about yoursleves (traveling) and think about the program, recruiting, and so on.

Having the big spotlight and stomping Boise/TCU's dick in the dirt on a national stage is best for the program.

Sugar.

How is the Orange not a big spotlight again?

It's a big spotlight, but lousy match up. I really don't want to see us play whatever hobbles out of the annual ACC cluster frick. Especially after the season we've had.

This I agree with, Though its kinda funny that LSU fans have to depend on their ARCH RIVAL and SUPER hated former coach to help them get into the BCS.
