Notice to LSU Players & Coaches - The Heat is Off

The heat is off because the best prediction I've heard or read for the final Tiger Win-Loss record comes from the great state of OkieLand; this morning, the Sports Animal "experts" in OKC who saw the MSU game, agreed LSU looked bad, but were willing to bet LSU would lose "only" 3 games down the stretch.
We now know that the Heat is Off when the fanbase that hates us the worst (Oklahoma)has predicted LSU with a better End of Year record that our own fanbase at LSU!!!
NO PRESSURE, BOYS! JUST PLAY YOUR UGLY ASSES OFF FOR PRIDE'S SAKE - BECAUSE NOBODY GIVES YOU A CHANCE IN HELL.

You don't live up here with these crazy Sooners - they bash us everytime they can find a spot to do so. For them to give us more respect than our own fanbase is pretty amazing.
I personally think we've got big problems lying ahead, but remain hopeful that we'll play our best football (physically and technically sound) in the upcoming games. There is a certain benefit to "not peaking too soon", and if there is any potential upside that exceeds that of other teams, it's that barometer for LSU. We are due to have a "stronger than expected" game, and I'm hoping in comes against GA. From that, we get a "boost of confidence" in "how good we could be", and carry that over to the FLA game.
Hope springs eternal!

People in Oklahoma are some of the most uneducated rubes out there, who cares what they think?
