Nah. Piped in music is better than the band, bruh.

I stopped caring when they took away Tiger Rag. After pregame, I just don't care what they do. Most of the songs are the same old recycled music during the games (hell, I heard Washington's band playing neck). Yeah, I hate crappy piped in pop music, but it's not that much different than the typical recycled band music that you can hear in any stadium on any given Saturday.

yep talked to a band manager randomly in the Denver airport this week, he said they still practice all the banned stuff he just said students etc, he mentioned oweeo and Neck and two possible returners,

Only because the student section isn't showing up this weekend.

Since it's Furman week, I think it's fine to address this topic. If they're gonna try to bring songs back, they probably should do a piece in The Reveille or whatever leading up to it and explain that "we know you're college students and morons will be morons, but we want to give these songs back to y'all...but please don't be profane..." You know, "the students make Tiger Stadium great"...bla bla bla...kiss their azz and make them feel appreciated. Something like that anyway so maybe some people might get on the same page. Otherwise, you probably got no chance.

I mean, there's always gonna be some craziness and profanity - it's college. But when Ole Miss fans are saying "suck that black bear d*ck" after they beat us, it's probably a good time for it to go away.

Cups full of drink flying after every score (or bad play when it got really bad) was the issue when I was a student. It got worse and worse and then it turned around with enough attention. So anything is possible because sh*t used to be flying everywhere at one time in the student section. If was fun to look at, but not fun for those that got direct hits.

I loved it in 2007 against Auburn and UF. A cheerleader got hit with a glass whiskey bottle last year.
