Do they throw much to their tight ends or running backs out of the backfield? Seems that's given us some trouble the last few games.... TIA, thanks.

They have a good tight end, so even if they haven't been throwing to him, Petrino will definitely have it in the plans. Wingo is also a good receiver out of the backfield, not a great runner though.

I wouldn't be surprised to see us open up as a double digit favorite against Arkansas.

Probably, I'm just trying to figure out if they have any opportunities - if they do have a quality tight end that's probably something they'll look to exploit....

I'm fairly certain we win this one as easily as we've won the other 'big games' this season (Alabama notwithstanding).....

Did WKU's receivers have any catches last night?

They'll throw a lot of crossing routes on us and try to match up a WR on a safety or LB coming across on drag routes.

Not sure the total, but their plan was pretty clear - and I remember TR getting open some too....

Our linebackers are going to get picked on.....

You can guarantee if Karnell Hatcher steps on the field, he will be targeted. He has the linebacker skills of Thomas Dunson, and the DB skills of Demetrius Hookfin.

Arky is a very good team, but people are really overblowing their past 2 games.

They struggled against Ole Piss' defense and struggled against Vandy.

They lit up a bad Tennessee team that started a true freshman and got a great punt return to open up that game. It was only 7-0 when that happened and was 21-7 at the half.

They did beat a good, but overrated USCe team scoring big, but USCe's anemic offense without their best weapon put up points on them.

Also, USCe's defense is good, but overrated. Their entire defense is their DL. They are mediocre outside of their DL. UGA put up 42 on them when they could only put up 21 against freaking Boise State.

USCe's stout defense gave up 37 points to ECU, 42 to UGA, 21 to Navy, 44 to Arky.

They built their strong defense hype versus Vandy (3), Auburn (16), UK (3), MSU (12), Tennessee (3), and UF (12).

The combined scoring offense rankings of those teams? 86TH in the nation with the highest at 68.

Yeah, I'm disappointed in the LB play this year, and frankly a little surprised too. Proud of the defense and definitely not a 'sky is falling' hater like a lot on this board, but I think this is the weakness that Arky looks to exploit, and I'm a little worried.....

our linebacker play has been mediocre at best, but i will say that Taj Jones has really stepped up recently. He has been our best linebacker over the past 3 games. That is both a tribute to Jones and a commentary on how average our linebackers are.

Johnson or Wingo coming out of the backfield against our linebackers is a terrifying proposition. Our DBs may give up some yards to the great Arky wide receiving corps, but they will limit them to a point. It's the other eligible receivers that scare me.

yeah, hopefully we focus on tackling and not stripping the ball when they get in the open field. Agree on Taj Jones, he seems to be the best of the bunch.

Arky is rather overrated IMO

I don't see them being able to stop LSU running the ball so they will hang for awhile but eventually will be overpowered
