Interesting comentary on this mornings show in Dallas. Hitzges ranked both college and pro teams in a combined ranking and had LSU #1 and Green Bay #2 and several other pro teams #3 thru 6th with Alabama#7. Asked to predict a score if LSU and the Packers were to play, Hitzges said Packers 52 to 10 and if LSU were to play Indy Colts the Colts would be favored by only one TD. Thought you guys would be interested in this.

Any NFL team would destroy any college team. I hate when people say stupid shite like LSU or Bama could hang with a pro squad.

He did not really say, I would assume based on how the college team and the pro teams stacked up against their own, LSU being more impressive by a long shot over Alabama then Green bay is over other pro teams.

If you know Norm's style, it was a little tongue-in-cheek, but not in a sarcastic way. He was just trying to say how really impressed he was with LSU. It wasn't a serious ranking of the teams based on any criteria. He said how he messed up on Saturday by not flipping to the LSU-UF game until 12 minutes in, because by then the game was already over. Basically said that LSU pimp-slapped (paraphrase there) Florida from the get-go and the game was over by the time he turned it on.

i hate to say it but even Indy would beat our arse. Comparing college to pro position for position isn't even fair. Wayne, Garcon, and Clark would run circles around our coverage. Freeny and Mathis would be sacking the shite out of Lee on about every other play.
