This statement, along with the combination of having nothing else to lose at this point make me excited for the rest of the season. No one steps on the field on Saturday and just willingly takes a whipping. Pride goes a lot further than that. There's some bad blood amongst the teams remaining on our schedule, I expect to see some intensity and raw hatred for our opponents.

The pressure is off. No expectations anymore. Go out, play loose, play for the guys next to you, have fun, and beat some arse along the way. Excited to see how the players come out on Saturday night in Baton Rouge. Hell, if we happen to score on the first drive of the game, the place is going to erupt. Can't wait :bartscott:

i honestly have more hope that we will happen to upset some people later on this season. In tiger stadium with nothing to lose is very dangerous for an incoming opponent.

Its not going to happen.

I hope LSU stomps Mizzou, but it won't happen. This is a 5 to 7 loss season.

I liked Fournettes comment "We knows its a business"

It was business for him, too. He knows that it cost him the Heisman, and that LSU was no longer winning. I think they are all ready to step up

this team will either do as you say; exhibit intensity and raw hatred it will be great to see. the team playing for each other and LSU.

like I said last week, we're getting ready to see what these guys are made of. while I want them to win, the way they play the game is important to me. I hope Ensminger realizes that and let's 'em play ball.

Highly doubt that now. Maybe 5, but not six or seven. Albatross removed, kids will play with enthusiasm now, and the fanbase will be excited in anticipation of next year and a new coach.
