There will be no Spring Tiger Tour this year. I went to pay my TAF dues this year and asked about it. They told me that they didn't plan on it and may do something but the girl was very dismissive. It is like "Give me your money and shut up." LSU does a terrible job with PR. Mothe Game Day experience is very overrated. The average every day fan does nit count any more

This probably wouldn't have been a good offseason to do it anyway.

The tiger tour is probably a line item expense that the program could cut to show the state it's being budget conscious without sacrificing real program needs.

People need to stop giving those jokers money. That will get F.King's attention that we're sick of the athletic department.

Will never happen. Keep dreaming. People on here tell me I should give up my basketball tickets to stick it to LSU. So I should make my kids, who love going to the basketball gamessuffer, to be a hippie protester?

This doesn't cost LSU any money. They make money from it. This is always a great chance to meet coaches and talk, perhaps Dave Aranda or Dameuyune Craig. LSU just doesn 't get it some time. Nobody will assassinate Miles. That is a sick joke.

Is anyone surprised? They'd have been lit up like bonfires on the levee at Christmas and with good reason!

Cowardly, bullshite decision on LSU's part. Can't take the heat from their coaches sorry arse work in the kitchen. LMAO.

You can't trot out Caldwell or Bullett, but why not a David Patrick or even see if Benny would show up? Would be big.

For Football...Anyone think Bay Bay would get booed? Or how about Dameyune Craig? Why not bring both of those guys out for a simple, scripted meet and greet?

Just another act here at the Clown Show...

it's like any other product or service, you vote with your wallet. That's what really gets the attention of companies.

You can call it a "hippy protest" if you want, but it's how the vast majority of individuals in this country can operate. Now of course, if other factors outweigh the benefit of withholding dollars (like your kids who love the games) then sure, keep supporting the product.

But you're a fool if you think withholding dollars goes unnoticed.

I don't get this. I tailgate I go to games and I still enjoy the experience the same as I did as a kid. Is it different? Yes but the experience is what you make of it. I look at it as I get 7 or 8 Saturday's in the fall where I get to have a lot of friends on campus and we hang out and have a good time and then I get to go watch LSU play football.

Bama is not doing their annual caravan either
My guess is they are looking at different events to change it up, those dog and pony shows were really a waste of time anyway, the stupid questions people would ask.

It's much different than when I was a kid. In HS and the first few years of college, my parents and some friends would always tailgate on campus near Tower Drive. We'd grill, toss the football around, listen to the radio, play the fight song every now and again, and it was a blast.

Now you have to pay for that privilege. If you want to tailgate for free, you're excommunicated out to the glorified parking lots out in the Hay Fields where the parking attendants won't let you set up your tent in a side spot because they're busy cramming people into every available spot.

Meanwhile, the limestone parking lot in between the Soccer Complex and Skip Bertman was not-ever-filled for a single game. Hundreds of paid parking spots go unsold that would be much better for tailgating and closer to the Stadium.

LSU wants to squeeze every single dime out of you in exchange for enjoying the privilege of the experience that the fans themselves created and made unique.

Does this sound like sour grapes? Maybe. Does it sound like an OT Poor? Could very well be compared to some of the ballers on here.

But there are more and more people that have zero idea of the type of all-day event and day-long party we used to have there. More and more people simply get corralled into a parking spot and are discouraged from doing anything other than getting out, making sure you have your tickets and then walking into the game before leaving than ever before.

That type of fan isn't what made LSU what it is. They didn't put us in position to have what we have and do things how we do them.

LSU Athletics is busy choking the goose that laid the golden egg on both ends. Our Leadership is screwing the pooch with coaching accountability as well as laying the same screws to the fans financially.

What's worse is that the approximately $50 million we've been paid over the first two years of the SEC Network mean that the ears that could be bent at LSU are even further away from the average fans and season ticket holders thanks to all of that moolah from the TV contracts.

We don't matter. Neither does our experience. It just matters that they can take us for as much as humanly possible before they can no longer take us. They want to but right up against that.
