Was a thing of beauty. Tigers swarming all over the gump qb.

It was fantastic. I still don't understand why Alabama didn't kick there.

Screamed so loud on the fourth down stop that I got lightheaded and almost passed out. I was swaying. It was glorious, though.

I agree, was very unSaban like to not get the first points on the board. Thought Bebe had him at that point.

Because Saban knew he wasn't gonna get that close often and he thought 7 points would be like a dagger to the D and fans. Also, let's face it, he is used to getting a yard in that situation when he goes for it. That made him realize it wasn't every other D he was facing.

Did hurts fumble on the 4th down? I only got a quick glance at the replay but it looked like fumbled and Duke would have had 6 if it was not blown dead.

field position......Bama scores a TD and its over and even if you don't the chances of our offense going 90+ was about 0, so you likely get good field position after the punt.

Amazing moment in tiger stadium though

I thought the same thing and couldn't tell from the one replay I saw in stadium. But a buddy who watched at home told me replay was pretty clear that Hurts' knee was down.

His knee was down. Ball came out a split second later.

I couldn't believe they went for it there. We weren't going to score at any point this game. Take the 3 and you could have won 3-0
