Without the cupcakes on the schedule, LSU probably won’t have a comfortable enough lead to pull Brennan out.

If LSU is good enough, there will be enough large leads to be able to get back ups in.

You do realize that Burrow probably played 90 pct of the minutes this year. Even as good as we were there was not a lot of time for Brennan.

We put backups in during the CFP semifinals last year. If we’re anywhere near as good, we’ll be seeing plenty of backups during conference play.

It’s not like Myles Brennan got a ton of playing time last year anyway.

The only reason Brennan didn't get more snaps is because after getting big leads, the defense went into coast mode (the first 2/3 of the season) just early enough Burrow had to stay in to preserve the blowout.

This. Too many think Brennan is just going to step in and keep the offense humming. I for one am not so sure. He will likely be better than Jennings and Harris but is his ceiling, Etling ? There are still many questions for Brennan to answer. I hope he surprises but there is no guarantee just because he's a RS junior things will go smoothly.
