I've got

1) Oklahoma
2) LSU (if Les stays)
3) Oregon (assuming they lose BCSCG - if they win it they will be #2)
4) Alabama
5) OKST

Oklahoma State is possible, but only if Blackmon and Weeden come back next year

The good thing is...I think we should beat oregon but even with a loss that early in the season to a top ranked team we will still easily be in the hunt.

Blackmon is a freak, but he is a true Sophmore.
Weedon is old. So I would imagine he is atleast a junior. If he is a junior, he'll definitely stay, bc his draft projection right now isnt that high.

OU's schedule favors them 2011. OOC at FL st then thats pretty much it. A&M will be a bcs buster with them playing OK st and OU

Im not seeing the TCU love. Why would somebody be all over them next year? Do they have a good qb to replace Dalton? Yeah I can see top 10-15 by default, but not top 5.

Probably because they are in the big east and they should be able to run with that, although I think WVU could give them a game.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but doesn't Bama lose a lot of people?

McElroy
Ingram
Jones
Darius

All gone for sure. What about Maize, Hanks, their TE, OL? I just can't see them being as good as they were this season.

ETA: They get Maze and Hanks back but lose their TE and a few OL men. I can't see how they could be a better team next year than they were this year.

There first 5 games:
Akron (home)
Toledo (home)
Miami FL (road)
Colorado (home)
Michigan State (home)

so looks like they could go 4-1 in that span... now there 6th game is against Nebraska

Ohio State starts next season 8th, book it!

They lose to Mich St and Nebraska in back to back games too.

-I would put TCU at 2 but I think pollsters will be afraid to do that until they are officially part of a BCS conference, the oh so daunting Big East.

WE DO NOT HAVE THE WANT TO BE RANKED NO. 1 TO START THE SEASON...VERY FEW TEAMS WIN TITLES STARTING THE SEASON RANKED NO 1...
