NIL or Jay?

I had heard the players were not signing autographs for kids by the bus. Other teams have done this that I’ve seen. But LSU indeed was trained to walk past all the kids asking for them and didn’t even acknowledge them.

Not sure of the reasoning but Maineri always allowed his players to hang out for a bit and sign for the dozens of kids waiting. Maybe a Jay thing or maybe NIL related?

Not really a hard compliant but more of an observation.

Was it actually kids? Every time I saw the SECN showing players signing for fans, it was always for full grown men.

All I’ve read is about how many high character guys we have on the roster, and by all accounts jay seems like a great guy. Think you’re over analyzing this by a mile

I’ve been to several games this year and this is not the case.

I understand not signing for adults. But there were mostly kids on front row hoping for autographs

This was never an issue until this year. It may be a small thing but sucks for the kids who remember when LSU players would sign and take pictures.

Beloso stopped but the others walked by. All of the other teams have been great. My son has met and gotten autographs from every player he approached. Yes I noticed the same guys with the binder full of cards getting signed. They were there for each team coming out.

I don’t think it’s all on jay. He was signing yesterday and the cops were trying to get him to hurry up. He seemed annoyed by them.

The last 2 or 3 weeks of the season, they did not come out and sign autographs. Why, I don’t know.

Some of it has to do with NIL no doubt. Skenes, Crews, and White have all done recent signings at $60-$65 per signature. Not saying I agree with it, but I get it.

When we lost to Nichols the players stayed after for 30 minutes t sign for the kids. Don’t look too much into this.

It’s not an issue this year. The players sign every game I have been to which is quite a lot.

They don’t deserve to be able to sign autographs after that game. They should be running polls for every strikeout instead.

- someone in the rant probably.

My kids got about 15 signatures each Friday night of the Mississippi State series.
