I thought she was the greatest talent/commit LSU has received in a long time? Is it just the upper classwoman keeping her off the field?

She isn't starting but she is an extremely talented player that will be extremely successful. She will be startin next year but she has gotten a lot of experience this year. I hope this thread doesn't turn into a nasty thread

Yeah.. I didn't intend for it to be. I know she's talented and extremely driven. I guess the freshman at SS beat her out?

She would normally play at 2B but Quinn is starting this year. She is still relied on a lot in pinch hitting situations so she is still used quite a bit but there only so much room we have right now.

Doyle, Springfield, Dawson, Doyle, Andrews will likely all be full time starters next year

Only place Dawson can play in infield is 2B and with Quinn back, she had to wait her turn. Still physically gifted and if Tymes comes back healthy, LSU will have a lot of speed in the lineup.

Honest answer but I will be accused of "nasty" or "negative" responses.

Ultra talented, sky is the limit. Should have been in the line up every day since day one. Top 3 OBP on team (behind only the two All Americans), top 4 batting average on team and that is with no chance to get comfortable in the line up. She has done it spot playing and pinch hitting which is exceptional on this level. Staff has made zero effort to make her a part of the plan this season even when this team was really struggling. She has done nothing to disappoint.

She is currently waiting for her opportunity behind upper classman and team favorites hitting .200.

Will she be a 3 year starter? Maybe. Should she have been a 4 year starter, without question.

and if Tymes comes back healthy

I was wondering why Thymes hasn't been getting any pinch running looks this season. Didn't realize she was injured. Is the issue public knowledge?

If Dawson transfers, will you go with her?

She tore up her knee in fall ball, I believe.

Is she redshirting? There is not a lot waiting for female softball players after college. Their pro league doesn't pay much. Seems like more would redshirt.

"Played" counts pinchrunning,

She might as well of redshirted based on how little she was used.
